The Spivey Splash Water Park is by Lake Spivey in Clayton County. It’s hardly the biggest water park in the world, but there’s a slide tower with four slides, plus a lazy river and a kids’ pool. There’s also a Flowrider to practice surfing skills on.

The main pool complex comes with a water volleyball court, and there’s also a ropes course on-site.

Hampton GA to Atlanta drive: Atlanta State Farmers Market

In Clayton County and spread over 150 acres, the Atlanta State Farmers Market is one of the biggest outdoor markets in the states. Georgia is hugely proud of its fresh produce, and this is the best place to get your hands on it. There are a café and garden center on site, and the market is open 24 hours a day.

To get to the Atlanta State Farmers Market, branch off the I-75 at exit 237.

Things to do on the Hampton GA to Atlanta drive: Delta Flight Museum

At the northern end of Atlanta Hartfield-Jackson Airport, the Delta Flight Museum is a winner for aviation geeks. It hosts historic aircraft that date back to the 1920s and allows you to walk on the wing of the first Boeing 747-400 ever produced.

There are several exhibits about aviation history inside a Boeing 767. You can also have a go at flying a Boeing 737 in a simulator.
